THE SMILES

This is happy, this is amongst friends. I also happened to be at a 'Kirk Gone Acoustic' show (left). That ALWAYS helps.  Have you ever thought about what generates a smile? It isn't always a verbal communication or something visual.  It can be a feeling or a thought.  Today, however, it happened to be news I heard.  Someone is so interested in what I am doing and where I am going that they took it upon themselves to use their position to inquire about what Andrea is up to and what lead up to her current status. Well you don't have to call long distance to do that. Just call me. I'm even on Facebook doll.  xoxo

Adrianne and I all SMILES

Friends make my world go round if it weren't for them then where would we be? We would be lonely with lots of family time, huh? Not that it is a bad thing, but friends are a good buffer and a great ally when the whole world is against you. They tell you you're right because that's what you want to hear and help you pick up the pieces later. That's what friends are for.

FAMILY
June 13, 1919 - April 6, 2003

At the Pine Bluff Air Show. Early 80's. He had taken his PT-19 with a double open cockpit over for the CAF airshow display. This is a SMILE. He is catching a quick sandwhich after having performed in his other plane the Great Lakes bi-wing double open cockpit. ( However he was flying solo. xoxo )

Legends come and they go. How else was I supposed to turn out? This was Dr. Faber Henry Carter MD.
My grandfather. He gave me and Mercedes Benz roadster convertible when I was 16, after convincing me I was getting a Dodge Dart. Wow. He put himself through Medical school on the GI Bill. Wanted to be a commercial airline pilot but he didn't have 20/20 vision. He assumed that it would scare his passengers if he were to board the plane and enter the cockpit with a seeing eye dog or a cane.  So he decided to be a doctor. He said don't ride motorcycles, eat sausage or swim in the Arkansas River.  He also advised that quitting smoking didn't make you live longer it just SEEMED longer.  He was my HERO
